The citizen of Yemen in conversation with representatives of international human rights organisation Amnesty International has accused CIA of the USA of abduction and tortures and has told about confidential prisons of department. According to the 31-year-old Yemenite on Haleda Abdu Ahmed Saleha's nationality al-Maktari, in January, 2004 he was arrested in Iraq by the American military men. Then 32 months of imprisonment and tortures in various confidential prisons of CIA while it has not been forwarded to Yemen have followed and is released in May, 2007. US authorities do not recognise its detention, informs site Amnesty International.
First al-Maktari contained in Baghdad "Abu-Grejb", then it have forwarded to confidential prison of CIA in Afghanistan, and in April, 2004 - in other prison, it is possible in the Eastern Europe where it was held by 28 months.
Al-Maktari has accused CIA of application of tortures and other kinds of cruel treatment with arrested persons. To them, dream deprivation, compulsion beatings concern an exposure, tortures by a heat and a cold, and also influence by loud music and other sounds in a combination to bright light long isolation.
Representative Amnesty International notices, that the Yemenite has spent 32 months in the conclusion, not having access to lawyers and relatives. It is obvious infringement from the USA the international obligations.
Халед al-Maktari has not received any indemnification from US authorities which do not recognise till now even its detention.
Tortures and violent disappearances are crimes according to international law. They cannot be justified under no circumstances, it is marked in the message. Amnesty International has addressed with an appeal to US authorities to put an end to such practice and to make human rights guilty of infringements answerable.
Let's remind, that representatives of CIA confessed time and again that apply to suspected of torture terrorism - "non-standard techniques of interrogation". The majority of them is based on beating of prisoners. Also people force to stand on one place during long time, not allowing to sleep, or violently immerse in water, simulating утопление.
Human rights organisations condemn CIA for application of such methods of interrogation. And in the Congress of the USA in the meantime there is a trial concerning destruction of videorecordings on which cross-questionings at least two members of "al Kaide" have been fixed.
